Obituary

George Jupin,46,of Belle Vernon,died Saturday,May 14,1966,at 12:50 a.m. in Monongahela Memorial Hospital. A U.S.Army veteran of World War II,he was a member of Belle Vernon Amercian Legion Post 659. He was employed as a welder at the Monessen Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow,Mary Stone Jupin,two daughters,Mrs.David (Sandra) Bergstedt Jr.,Monessen and Janet,at home,two sons,George E.of Cleveland,and Scott,at home,three sisters,Mrs.John (Anna) Bisacky,Monongahela,Mrs.Pete (Eva) Gaidos,Monongahela R.D. and Mrs.George (Margaret) Kowasic,Fayette City R.D.,three brothers,Frank,of Scranton,Nicholas,of Charleroi,and John,of Pricedale. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Greek Catholic Church in Monongahela at 9 a.m.Tuesday,May 17,1966. The Rev.Ivan Dornic,pastor,will officiate. Graveside service at Belle Vernon cemetery will be conducted by American Legion Post 659,Belle Vernon. Parastas service at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.May 16. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
