George LeConte,66,of 616 Henry street,Belle Vernon,who was employed at the Monessen Plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Co.for thirty-eight years,where he served as captain of police,died suddenly Saturday morning,February 11,1950,at 8:45. He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Bertha LeConte;one son,August LeConte,of California state;one daughter,Mrs.Theodore Bergamasco,of Texas;one stepson,Roy LaVance,of Nevada;one brother,Hector LeConte of Warren,Ohio;four grandchidlren and four great-grandchidlren. Friends will be received at the late home where services will be held Tuesday,Feb.14 at 2 p.m.,followed by interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer,funeral director.
