Obituary

George J. Kizman, 83, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township), died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born August 29, 1924, in Monessen, he was a son of the late George M. and Mary Rose Kasar Kizman. A resident of Rostraver Township, Mr. Kizman was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon and was retired from Corning Glass of Charleroi. He is survived by his sister, Mary E. Kizman, of Rostraver Township, two nieces, Michelle Kizman Richardson and husband Dale, and Mary Elizabeth Kugler Brumley and husband Dan, two nephews, Jerry Peters and wife Barbara, and Greg Peters, and several great-nieces and nephews, Lindsay Richardson, Jeff Levy, Adam, Bryan, Christian, Julie, Christopher, Connor, Bobby, Emily Peters, Casey, Jason, Taylor, Blake Richards, David, Alicia, Derek and Aaron Brumley. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Kugler and Ann Peters, one brother, Michael V. Kizman, and one niece, Susan Peters. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Wednesday, April 23, in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas, pastor of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of George Kizman on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
