George J. Brisky; 84; of Riverview Estates; Dunlevy;
died Monday; May 22;2000; at 1:45 a.m. in Mt. Macrina Manor; Uniontown. Born Nov.
7;1915; in Pittsburgh; he was the son of the late Nick and Elizabeth Tatalovich.
Formerly of Monongahela and
Wilson; he had lived in
Dunlevy since 1988. He was
Protestant by faith. Mr. Brisky
retired in 1978 from USX
Clairton Works where he was
a boilermaker. He had also
been employed by McDonald’s
in Charleroi for several years;
retiring in 1995. In addition to his parents; he was preceded
in death by his wife; Hazel E.Shawl Brisky; on Feb. 3; 2000;
and by three brothers; Martin Brisky; Nick and Rudy Tatalovich. Survivors include
two daughters; Mrs. Ray (Janice) Shutterly of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Michael G.
(Joan) Bozik of Warrenton;Va.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received. Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON
FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule funeral home; 700
Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
with the Rev. S. Miles McConnell;pastor of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
