Obituary

George Hall,well known and respected citizen of Belle Vernon,was found dead in his bed early Saturday morning,Feb.23,1929,seemingly a victim of a sudden attack of heart trouble. Mr.Hall was apparently enjoying the best of health and Friday evening went to the home of a daughter,Mrs.Mary Clegg,to visit with his wife who is confined to her bed there with an attack of pneumonia. Returning home he retired as usual but when he did not arise at the usual hour Saturday morning other members of the family went to the room and found that he had passed away sometime during the night. The deceased was 79 years of age and besides his wife,three daughters,Mrs.Jennie Lehew and Mrs.Mary Clegg of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Belle Conaghan of Duquesne and two sons,Robert of Monongahela and William of Belle Vernon,survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon,Feb.26,1929,from the Belle Vernon Christian Church with interment following in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
