George Gordon Wilson;53;of 620 Speer’s Ave.;Speers Hill;Charleroi;died Wednesday;June 3;1987 in Mon Valley Hospital at 2:30 p.m. He was born July 6;1933 in Charleroi;a son of George Wilson of Charleroi and the late Roberta Murray Wilson. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi. He was a U.S.Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had lived in Speers for the past 22 years and was formerly of Charleroi. He was an employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh;working in the maintenance department. In addition to his father;he is survived by his wife;Daryl Province Wilson;one son;Christopher;and a daughter;Amy Sue;both at home;two brothers;Vernon Lee Wilson of Texas and Robert L.Wislon of Speers Hill;one sister;Mrs.Norman (Shirley) La Pointe of Los Galso;Calif. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Thursday;from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from noon until 2 p.m.;the time of the services at which the Rev.Zane Howland of the Speers Methodist Church will officiate.
