He was a member of St.Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church;Monessen. A veteran of World War I;he belonged to LaFayette Post 51 of the American Legion;Uniontown. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Teresa Grabiak Gogones;two daughters;Mrs.Thomas (Theressa) McCrory of Perryopolis and Mrs.Steve (Betty) Rongyos Kmetz of Wickliffe;Ohio;one stepdaughter;Mrs.Ray (Helen) McCrory Bost of Belle Vernon;seven grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;and five nieces and nephews in Greece. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 3 p.m Tuesday. Trisagion services will be held there Wednesday at 8 p.m. Prayer service on Thursday;March 9;1972;at 12:30 p.m.in the funeral home will be followed by services at 1 p.m.in St.Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church;Monessen;with the Rev.James Stathakios;pastor;officiating.
