George G. Brounce Sr.,72,of 1101 !/2 Oakland Ave.,Charleroi,died Friday,Jan. 6,1967 at 10:40 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Lonaconing,Md.,Feb.25,1894,a son of William and Martha Albright Brounce. Mr. Brounce was member of First Christian Church,Charleroi,and was retired from the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He came to Charleroi 60 years ago from Maryland. Surviving are his widow,Margaret;three sons,George W. Brounce,of Monessen and Albert and Jack Morgan,of Charleroi;a daughter,Mrs. Isabelle Billion,of Charleroi;a brother,James Brounce,of Monongahela;a sister,Loretta Jan,of Pittsburgh;14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Friends are being received at the Francis C. Slezak Funeral Home,Charleroi from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday,Jan.10,at 22 p.m. The Rev. W.S.VanArsdale will officiate.
