George G.Allen;43;of Monessen;died Sunday;August 9;1981;at 9 p.m.of a heart attack while walking along Route 51. He was pronounced dead by Fayette County Deputy Coroner Elbert Lowther. Born June 25;1938 in North Charleroi;he was the son of the late Lynnwood and Addie Flintol Allen. He was a life-long Monessen resident. Survivors include three brothers;Philip Tracey Allen of Monessen;Richard Allen of Philadelphia;and William Allen of Washington D.C.;a sister;Barbara Allen Dupree of Pittsburgh;and three daughters;Margaret Allen of New York City;Nina and Monique Allen;both of Rochester;N.Y. Friends will be received in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in the Fellowship Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Wilbur Hubbard;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
