Obituary

George Fedora,66,of Cook St. Sxt.,Fayette City,died Saturday,Oct.13,1962,at 3:15 p.m. in Fayette City. He was born in Austria-Hungary on December 7,1895. Mr.Fedora was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church of Charleroi,the United Mine Workers of America,Local 2244 of Monongahela,and the American Slovanic Citizens Club of Fayette City. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are four daughters,Mrs.William (Anna) Pates,Mrs.Robert (Pauline) Fleck,Mrs.Robert (Helen) Paschedag,all of Granite City,Ill.,and Mrs.Bud (Sophie) Ittner of Reno,Nev.,seven sons,Charles of North Charleroi,Michael of Fairhope,George and Paul of Sacramento,Calif.,John of Fayette City R.D.1,Alexander and Frank at home,twenty-three grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City where services will take place at 9 a.m.Thursday,Oct.18,followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m.in Holy Trinity R.O.Church,Charleroi. The Rev.Vladimir Soroka,pastor,will be in charge. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday,Oct.16 and 17,at 8 p.m. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
