George Edwin Eason,aged 70,one of Charleroi's highly respected citizens,died Sunday afternoon,December 6,1925,at 12:45 o'clock at his home in 602 Lookout avenue,following a prolonged illness due to complication of diseases. He was born in Syracuse, New York,has been a resident of Charleroi for more thatn twenty-five years and was employed during the greater part of his residence here at the Macbeth-Evans Glass Company. Mr. Eason was a life-long member of the Episcopal Church and since his coming to Charleroi had been a communicant and active worker of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife,Mrs. Lois Eason;one daughter,Miss Elizabeth Eason at home,and one son,Edwin Eason of Belle Vernon. Mrs. John A. Hunt of Kelso,Washington,a sister,and one grandchild also survives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Mary's Episcopal Church in charge of Rev. Sidney H. Dixon. Interment to follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
