Obituary

George Edward Hall,50,of 130 Jerusalem Ave.,Hempstead,Long Island,N.Y.,died suddenly Monday night,Sept.13,1971. He was born in Searights May 13,1921. He was a veteran of World War II and had lived in Long Island for the past 10 years. He was a former resident of Belle Vernon. When he died he was a manager of a gas service center on Long Island. Surviving are hiw widow,Dorothy Louise Bankerd Hall,his parents,Mr.and Mrs.John Hall of Allenport,three brothers,John and Clell of Wantaga,N.Y.and Howard of Tallmage,Ohio,three sisters,Mrs.Carol Lazar of Allenport,Mrs.Anna Kent of Stockdale and Mrs.Thelma Lazar of Charleroi. Friends are being received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Funeral home visiting hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.Charles Colas,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby Ferguson,funeral director,in charge.
