Obituary

George Dutch Dubnansky,82,of Canton,Ohio,formerly of Speers,died Monday,April 17,2000,in Mercy Medical Center,Canton,Ohio. Born Sept.26,1917,in Charleroi,he was the son of the late Steven and Ann Guba Dubnansky. A U.S.Marine veteran of World War II,he was employed as street commissioner for Speers Borough prior to his retirement. Catholic by faith,Mrs.Dubnansky was a member of Mary,Mother of the Church Roman Catholic Parish in Charleroi and Charleroi VFW Post 167. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Beulah DeFazio Dubnansky,two sisters,Emma Fedora and Madeline Dubnansky,two brothers,John and William Dubnansky,and two brothers-in-law,Hank Lancy and Mike Fedora. Surviviors include a daughter and son-in-law,Joan and Dan Davis of Canton,Ohio,a sister,Margaret Lancy of Bentleyville,two brothers,Steven and Edward Dubnansky,both of North Charleroi,one brother-in-law,Thomas DeFazio of Monessen,four grandchildren,nine great-grandchildren,and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,a member of the Golden Rule,is in charge of arrangements.
