Obituary

George Dudgeon, aged 67 years,who resided at 509 Short street, Belle Vernon, died Saturday, September 23,1944 at 7:30 a.m. at his home, following an illness of two years duration. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sally Dudgeon, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Williams of Belle Vernon, and Mrs. Arthur Aspy of Clarksburg, W. Va., three sons, James of New Kensington, Robert of Belle Vernon and Alex, at home, two brothers, Alex of Pricedale, James of Hobert, Ind., two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pringle of Mt. Vernon, 0hio, and Mrs. Margaret Harkless of Detroit. Six grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,where services will be held Tuesday,September 26,1944,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.J.W.Klages,of the Christian Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
