George Dewey Winnett;72;of 416 Fourth St.;Monessen;died Wednesday;May 27;1970;at 8:40 a.m.in Monongahela Memorial Hospital. Mr.Winnett was born July 10;1898. He worked in the machine fabric department of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.until his retirement in 1965. Survivors include his sister;Mrs.William Bell with whom he made his home;one brother;Russell of Hartville;Ohio. Friends are being received Wednesday;after 7 p.m.and Thursday from 2-5;7-10 p.m.at Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Lynn Chester Edwards of the Trinity Episcopal Church;Monessen officiating.
