George Campbell,former Monessen man,who has been residing in McKeesport for some time,died Sunday, November 12,1944 at 7:30 a.m. at the McKeesport hospital,after a brief illness of pneumonia. He was aged 50 years. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Paul Hall of Greensburg and Mrs. Euphremia Tharpe of Macon,Ga.;his mother,Mrs. Euphremia Campbell of Monessen;two sisters,Mrs. Isabell Carson of Charleroi and Mrs. Bessie Shutterly of Sicklerville,N.J.;two brothers, John and Thomas Campbell,both of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Woodward Home for Funerals until 11 a.m.Wednesday,November 15. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Dave H. Woodward,funeral director,in charge.
