George Brindzak;79;of 820 McClintock Ave.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Saturday;March 4;1972;at 3:30 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was a member of the Slovak Presbyterian Church;Monessen;S.G.U.Sokol Lodge 47;Monessen;Calvinistic Presbyterian Union;Monessen Lodge 22. He retired from the Irvin Works in Dravosburg seven years ago. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Helen Surovchak Brindzak;two daughters;Mrs.Peter (Margaret) Kelly of Roscoe and Mrs.Robert (Helen) Githens of Belle Vernon;two sons;George at home and Andrew of Cherry Hill;N.J.;two brothers;Andrew of Argentina and John of Czechoslovakia;one sister;Mrs.Susan Matta of Czechoslovakia;and five grandchildren. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be Monday at 7 p.m.and a funeral service will be held Tuesday;March 7;1972;at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon.
