George Brazack;62;of 204 Plain View Ave.;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Monday;May 1;1961;at 8 a.m. Mr.Brazack was born in Grindstone;April 9;1899;and was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. He was a member of St.John Lutheran Church of Charleroi;American Legion Post of Belle Vernon;Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon;and East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. He was a retired United Mine Worker and was a veteran of World War Two. He is survived by his widow;Mrs.Helen Brazack;one step-son;Vance Konkol of Belle vernon;a step-daughter;Mrs.LeRoy Nicolaus;Belle Vernon;four brothers;John of Monessen;Andrew and Paul of Lynnwood;Martin of Miami;Fla.;one sister;Mrs.John (Mary) Balaska;Belle Vernon;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services there Thursday;May 4;at 9:30 a.m.;will be followed by additional rites at 10:15 o’clock in St.John’s Lutheran Church;Charleroi;in charge of the Rev.Stephen Hurnyak. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Devotional services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 9 p.m. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
