A resident of Belle Vernon and vicinity during his entire life;George Beaumont died Monday morning;September 29;1941; at 3:45 a.m. at
his home; near the La Grange school; following a lingering illness. He was aged 78 years. He was a member of
Knights of Pythias lodge of
Smithton for many years.
Surviving is one son; Samuel
Beaumont; of Beallsville; Michigan; and two daughters; Mrs. Rescoe Eads; of Cincinnati;Ohio
and Mrs. Oliver Beaumont; of
Monessen.
Friends are being received at the
Melenyzer Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon;October 1;1941. Rev.James A.Rainey;pastor of the Christian Church;will officiate. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
