George Bainridge,aged 10, died Saturday afternoon, August 27,1937, at 2 o'clock in the Charleroi-Monesen hospital, 21 hours after an accident in which his cousin,Michael McDonough,6, of Fairhope also died. Funeral arrangements had been completed and a new grave was dug beside that of Michael in the Belle Vernon Cemetery,where little George will be buried after the services at 3 p.m.on Tuesday, August 31,at his home. Rev. David Hunter,former pastor of the Marion Presbyterian Church at Fairhope,will officiate. George's parents,Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bainbridge,three full brothers, Edward,Richard and Joseph Bainbridge;three half-brothers, William and Robert Eley,all at home and James Eley of Fayette City and a full sister, Mary, at home,survive.
