Obituary

George Andrako Sr.,73,of Twilight,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,June 28,2000,in his home after a long illness. He was born Feb.14,1927,in Monessen,a son of the late Frank and Mary Senitta Andrako. He was retired from the Monessen plant of Wheeling/Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,and was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon. He served in the U.S.Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 47 years,Virginia Hoffman Andrako,a son and daughter-in-law,George and Rosemarie Andrako of Monongahela,two daughters and sons-in-law,Linda and Andrew Klingovsky of Long Branch,and Patty and James Axton of Charleroi,a sister,Evelyn Miller of Beallsville,grandchildren,Lisa and Justin Zdravecky of Monongahela,David Andrako of Monongahela,Amanda McDermott,who resides with her grandparents in Twilight,Alysia Klingovsky and Megan Klingovsky,both of Charleroi,and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the JAMES C.STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC.,580 Circle Dr.,Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township,Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m.with Rev.John C.Park,pastor of Harmony Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
