George Albert,68,of Carroll Township,died Saturday,March 13,1999,at his home. He was born Sept.25,1930,in Donora,a son of the late Michael and Kathryn Albert. Mr. Albert was retired from U.S.Steel where he was employed as a draftsman. He was a member of the Monessen Elks. Survivors include his wife,Elaine Karlosky Albert;two daughters and sons-in-law Lee Ann and Mark Stevenson of Charleroi and Lorri Albert and Craig Fishman of Mt. Lebanon;one son and daughter-in-law,George and Kelly Albert of McMurray;three sisters, Sadie Urban,Minnie Kucia and Elizabeth Albert,all of Donora;one brother,Esau 'Brownie" Albert of Carroll Township;and four grandchildren,Mark and Kristen Stevenson and Alyssa and Amanda Fishman. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a sister,Rose Tominello,and a brother, Michael Albert. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Anthony L.Massafra Funeral Home,40 Second St.Ext.,Carroll Township,Donora. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St. Philip site of Our Lady of the Valley Parish,Donora,with the Rev. David Kriss,pastor,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Anthony L. Masssfra Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
