Obituary

George Jack Walters, 61,of
617 Arch St., North Belle
Vernon, died Sunday, July 16,
2000, at 12:05 p.m. in West
Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He
was born June 11, 1939, in
Pricedale, a son of the late
Vernon W. and Susan Madeline
Rabatin Walters. He was a resident of North Belle Vernon for
the past 27 years, having previously resided in Pricedale. He
was employed at the USX Irvin
Works, where he worked as a
millwright. He was a U.S.
Army veteran of the Vietnam
War. Survivors include his wife,
Lois HJ. Baker Walters, one
son, Brian Walters of New York,
N.Y., one brother, Vernon E.
Walters of West Newton, two
sisters and one brother-in-law,
Loretta and Harry Malone Jr.
of Monessen, and Joan Schaum
of Monongahela. Friends will
be received Monday from 7 to 9
p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. in the

FUNERAL HOME, family
owned and operated, 626 Broad
Ave., Belle Vernon, where
funeral services will be held
Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the
Rev. J.E. Mitchell, pastor of the
Belle Vernon Church of the
Nazarene, officiating. Burial
will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
