Geno V.DeAngelis;77;of Monessen;died Friday Dec.1;1995;in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Jan.8;1918;in Monessen;he was the son of the late Pio and Maria DeAngelis. Mr.DeAngelis was a lifelong resident of Monessen. He retired from the Page Division of American Chain and Cable Company Inc. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a daughter;Dolores DeAngelis Nagy;a granddaughter;Gina DeAngelis and a brother;Columbus DeAngelis. Surviving are his wife;Bertha Sudor DeAngelis;with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage in November;a son;Gerald DeAngelis of Perryopolis;seven grandchildren;a brother;Marino DeAngelis of Arizona;and four sisters;Elizabeth Minniti;Virginia Oliver and Theresa Heffner;all of Monessen and Lucy Carbone of Dearborn;Mich. Friends will be recived Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue;Monessen;where a blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m.;followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.
