Mrs. Genevieve Syler, aged 34 years, of 712 Sixth street, died Friday morning, February 4,1938, at 4 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen hospital. Surviving are her husband, Julian A. Syler, and five children, Julian, Avis, William, Benny and Shirley, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harris, a brother, Henry Harris, and two sisters, Roberta Samuta, of Boston, and Garnet Canada, of Boston. The body has been removed to the McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City, where it will lie in state until Monday afternoon when funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock from the Union Baptist Church of Monessen. Rev.E.W.Lipscomb will officiate. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
