Geneva Dupree Turner Calloway; 75; of Arnold City; Belle Vernon; died Thursday; Jan. 24; 2002; in the home of her daughter; Jacalyn R. Mills. Mrs. Calloway was born Nov. 27; 1926; in Geary; W.Va.; a daughter of the late Purvey and Lenora Dupree Dupree. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Norris Turner; and by her second husband; Samuel Wesley Calloway; eight brothers; David; Milton; Sylvester; Harding (Gator); Robert (Sonny); and Lloyd Dupree and two brothers at birth; two sisters; Cora Dupree Thrasher and Mary (Bootsie) Dupree Ross; and a stepmother; Aggie Lee Dupree. Mrs. Calloway was secretary and superintendent of the First Christian Church of Wickhaven; and also Church Mother; and a member of the Greater PA State Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. She had retired from the former Miller’s of Charleroi. Surviving are three daughters; Linda (Turner) Mounds of Harrisburg; Jacalyn R. (Turner) Mills of Belle Vernon; and Donna (Turner) Mills of Monessen; one sister; Rosa McCarthy of Belle Vernon; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday; Jan. 27; at the First Christian Church of Wickhaven; where funeral services will be held on Monday; Jan. 28; at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
