Gasper Karelli;89;of 231 Vernon Ave.;Lynnwood;died Saturday;March 15;1980;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Italy;Sept.25;1890. A retired coal miner;he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Roscoe. Preceding him in death were his wife;Mary;in February of 1970;and a daughter;Theresa;in May of 1977. Surviving are one son;Guy Karelli of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Rose Ambrose Chambers of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends are being received in the Howard W.McCory Funeral Home;Fayette City;until 11:30 a.m.Tuesday;when the body will be removed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Roscoe;where friends may call until 3 p.m.;the hour of the service. Elders Robert Buffington and James Moore of the Church of Jesue Christ of Imperial will officiate. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
