Gary Yancoskie of 1007 Upper Crest Ave.;Charleroi;died Thursday;Oct.4;1985;in Charleston Veterans’ Administration Hospital;Charleston;S.C.;following a brief illness. He was 31. Mr.Yancoskie was born Aug.29;1954;in North Charleroi;a son of Joan Langley of Shippensburg;Pa.;and Donald Vernet of Monessen. A U.S.Army veteran;he was employed in the Coke Plant of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Yancoskie was a member of the Polish Club and the Sons of Italy;both of Monessen. Surviving;in addition to his parents;are his wife;Edie Utley Yancoskie;four sons;Michael Donald Yancoskie;Joseph James Yancoskie and Gary Bryan Yancoskie;all of Monessen;and Heath Vernet of Shippensburg;Pa.;one daughter;Krissty Hans;of Monessen;one sister;Lissa Pasterick;of Charleroi;and four brothrs;Thomas Yancoskie of Monessen;Ronald Yancoskie of Coraopolis;Donald Vernet of Jacksonville;Fla.;and Brian Vernet of Monessen. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
