Miss Garthelda Danahy of 1018 Furlong avenue;Roscoe;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Saturday;October;15;1955;at 11:50 a.m. She was born in Elco;June 17;1923;the daughter of John and Alma Huhn Danahy. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St.Joseph’s Church;Roscoe. She is survived by her parents;one sister;Mrs.Margaret Neil of Belle Vernon;and her paternal grandmother;Mrs.Mary Danahy of Louisville;Kentucky. Friends will be received at the late home. Short Prayer there on Tuesday;October 18;at 9 a.m.;will be followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Joseph’s Church;Roscoe;in charge of Rev.Maxmillian Grocka. Interment will follow in Mt.Calvary Cemetery.
