Frieda Lutes of 234 Third St.;Charleroi;died Saturday;Feb.9;1985;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 81. Mrs.Lutes was born in Belle Vernon;on Aug.31;1903;a daughter of the late George and Alberta Fell Kuhn. A protestant by faith;she was previuosly employed by the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;William;in 1957. Survivors include a stepson;Albert Lutes of Charleroi;two daughters;Mrs.Richard (Peg) Pivovarnik of Charleroi and Ruth Lutes;with whom she made her home;four stepdaughters;Mrs.Helen Snyder of Newell;Mrs.Rozina Van Horn of Weirton;W.Va.;Mrs.Vera Biagini of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Warren (Grace) Oliphant of Belle Vernon;a sister;Florence Kuhn of Charleroi;four grandchildren;one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Rev.John Brownlee;pastor of the First Christian Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
