Frederick R. Yeaton; 90; formerly of Lee Drive; Belle Vernon; died Friday; Jan. 21; 2005; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A son of the late Harold and Mabel Nelson Yeaton; he was born in Belle Vernon on March 3; 1914. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; he was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon; a life member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club and Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Company; and a long-time member and founder of the Blue and Gold Cadets. Mr. Yeaton retired in 1975 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Fred H. and Lynne Yeaton of Ocala; Fla.; and Gordon and Janice Yeaton of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren; Chris Yeaton; Candice Yeaton Letter and Vicki Yeaton Kutska; and five great-grandchildren; Jonathon and Jake Yeaton; Lyndsay and Nikolas Kutska; and Ava Letter. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Helen Kuklar Yeaton; on June 24; 1999; a sister; Louise Yeaton Bush; and a granddaughter; Tammy Yeaton. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Wednesday; Jan. 26; at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Bowers officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
