Former Fayette City resident;Fred P.English Sr.of Florida;died Saturday;Sept.30;1978;at noon in Florida.  He was 84.  Mr.English was born July 11;1894 in Ohio.  He was a retired employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant. Mr.English is survived by his widow;Mary Ann English;six sons;Fred P.English Jr.of Pricedale;Harry English of Buffalo;N.Y.;Robert;William;Thomas and Daniel English;all of Florida;five daughters;Mrs Grace Pedeloise of Baton Rouge;La.;Mrs.Marjorie Breckenridge of Washington;Mrs.Betty Williams and Mrs.Larry (Ethel) McKee;both of Cleveland;Ohio;and Mrs.Clarence (Laura) Nichols of Fayette City;one brother;John English of Wheeling;W.Va.;31 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.;Fayette City;after 5 p.m.Tuesday.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.at the funeral home;with Rev.Bruce Smith;pastor of the Fayette City Christian Church;officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Howard W.McCrory;funeral director is in charge of arrangements.
