Obituary

Freederick E.Hauser,44,of 112 Second St.,Belle Vernon,was killed Saturday morning,Aug.26,1972,when a 10-ton road roller which he had been operating rolled over him. Hauser,an employee of Metz Construction Company,Bentleyville,was working on Riggs Road in the Piney Fork Village Plan of South Park Twp.when he slipped off the back of the machine. The accident happened at 9:30 a.m. Hauser was born in Germany Sept.18,1927. He was a veteran of World War II,having served with the U.S.Navy. He was a member of the G.B.U.Club of Monessen. Surviving are his widow,Dolores Matrozzo Hauser,step-children,Robert,Ronald,Karen and Linda Drudal at home,stepfather,Joseph Kroeschel of Monessen,brothers,Gus of Van Weert,Ohio,two sisters,Mrs.Anna Celaschi of Elizabeth and Mrs.Hilda Laatu of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where a service will be held Tuesday,Aug.29,at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
