Frederick C. Mountsier, 89, of Carroll Township, died Sunday, April 18, 1993, in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born May 11, 1903, in Gibsonton, a son of the late George and Eva Greene Mountsier. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the Allenport Plant, Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Malutich Mountsier; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Gloria Mountsier of Great Falls, Mont., and Richard and Melody Mountsier of Harrisburg; and four grandchildren , Pam, Amy, Christopher and Carrie Mountsier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Dunn and Georgia
Naccarato. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
