home Thursday Feb.20;1969;at 10 a.m.
Mr. Young; who was born in
Louisa; Ky.; July 6; 1898; was
a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monessen; St. Albans Lodge;Free
and Accepted Masons of Youngstown; Ohio; and Aut Mori
Grotto; of Youngstown.
A veteran of World War I;
having served with the U. S.
Army; be retired seven years
ago as assistant superintendent
of the blast furnace at the
Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Mr. Young came to Belle
Vernon 26 years ago from Lowellville;Ohio.
Surviving are his widow;
Edna Clark Young; a son; Leslie of Tempe. Ariz.; two daughters; Mrs William (Helen)
Campbell of Poland; hio; and
Mrs. Theodore (Doris) Jones
of Elgin;Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home; Belle Vernon; after
7 p.m.Feb.22 and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Feb.23. Service there Monday;Feb.24;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Glen H.Burrows;pastor of Monessen’s First Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
