Fred William Reese;47;well known sheriff oa Akron;Ohio;and a former valley resident;died suddenly early yesterday Jan.23;1933;in the home of his brother;Ernest Reese;at Belle Vernon;from an attack of acute indigestion. M.Reese;who arrived at Belle Vernon Saturday for a brief visit with his brother;complained of not feeling well Sunday. He did not eat anything during the day and in early evening he went to a Belle Vernon drug store for some medicine. At 9 p.m. he returned to his brother’s residence in 329 Main street and ate a fried egg sandwich. He retired about midnight. Two hours later his brother heard Mr.Reese groaning;and;upon going to his bedroom;found him unconscious. Death came within a few minutes. Mr.Reese had resided in the Ohio city for a number of years. He was the father of Fred Reese;Jr.;and Edgar Reese;both of Liberty avenue;West Brownsville. The body was removed to the Melenyzer mortuary ar Belle Vernon.
