Obituary

Frank L. Donnini, 70, of North Belle Vernon, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Frank P. and Lydia Arnoldi Donnini, he was born on Aug. 11, 1935, in North Charleroi. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon, the Rostraver Sportsmen's Club, where he was the vice president, the Star Junction and Ruffsdale Sportsmen's clubs, Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659, and the National Rifle Association. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, he was an expert trap shooter and an avid hunter and fisherman. Frank retired from the Homestead Plant of U.S. Steel. Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Weible and Linda and David Popp, all of Monessen, and nieces and nephews: Kevin Weible and wife Tina, of Charleroi, and Valarie Weible and Jordon and Cayla Popp, all of Monessen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhome.net, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Sebastian R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian R.C. Church parish will meet in the funeral home on Monday at 3 p.m. to pray the rosary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Rostraver Sportsmen's Association.
