Obituary

Frank Zeke Zadrozny, 76, of Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, surrounded by his family at home. He was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Arnold City, son of the late Pete Zadrozny and Christina Kosiba Zadrozny. He retired from Corning Glass in 1997. Zeke was a life member of PNA Lodge No. 976 and was the lodge financial secretary for 40 years. He was also President of Council No. 60. He was an avid gardener, hunter and sports fan. His greatest enjoyment came from watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Shaffer Zadrozny, son, Michael Zadrozny and wife, Vanessa of Fayette City, four grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, Zana and Zade Zadrozny, brother, John Zadrozny and wife, Helen of Fairhope, sister, Helen Heino of Dunlevy, and sister, Mary Ann Estock of Melbourne, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank P. Zadrozny. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, 724-326-5621, http://www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in the funeral home with the Rev. Father Felix Pyzowski officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
