Private services will be held Tuesday mornng, Sept. 9,1980,for Frank Manetta of 1128 Reservoir St.,Monessen,who died Sunday night, Sept. 7,1980, at 9:15 p.m. He was 53. Born March 31,1927,in Monessen,he was the son of Berardino Manetta,who survives,with whom he made his home,and the late Rose Manetta. Mr. Manetta retired in 1974 on disability from the Mead Corp. in Charleroi. He was a member of St. Cajetan R.C.Church,Monessen,and the Monessen Sons of Italy. Mr. Manetta was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S.Navy. He was discharged in 1946. Survivors, in addition to his father,include three brothers, Jim Manetta of Belle Vernon, Bernard Manetta of Los Angeles,Calif.and Gene Manetta of South Huntingdon Twp. There will be no visitation at the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home, Monessen,which is handling the arrangements.
