Frank P. Thomas,59,of 1362 Meldon Ave.,Donora,died Friday,Sept. 9,1960 at 2:30 a.m. in Monongahela Memorial Hospital after an ilness of nine days. Born in Virgilina,Va.on April 11,1901,he resided in Donora for the past 27 years. He was employed in the No.3 rod mill of U.S.Steel's American Steel and Wire Division. He was a member of the First Baptist Church,Donora,and the United Steelworkers of America Local 1753. Surviving are his widow, Lillian;two children,Daniel and Francine of Donora;one brother,Daniel of Virgilina,Va.;four sisters,Mrs. Liza Royster,Mrs. Alice Wilkerson and Mrs. Mattie Faulkner,all of Virgilina,Va.and Mrs. Isbell Gamble of New Rochelle,N.Y. Friends are being received at the Law Funeral Home,Donora,after 1 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral servces will be held Tuesday,Sept. 13,at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church,Donora. The Rev. John E. Washington will officiate. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy Law,funeral director.
