Obituary

Frank Sloan,35,of Donora,died suddenly Monday,Jan.24,1972,at 12:15 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born April 15,1936,in Seneca,S.C.,he was employed in the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St.Paul Baptist Church,Donora. Surviving are his widow,Mrs.Lois Sloan,nine children,Rhonda,Francine,Denise,Juanita,Carmen,Frank Jr.,Craig,Michael and Bradley,all at home,his parents,Mr.and Mrs.Andrew Sloan of Donora,and two sisters,Mrs.James (Hazel) Thomas and Mrs.Grady (Barbara Jean) Haynes,both of Los Angeles,Calif. Friends will be received at the Law Funeral Home,1324 Meldon Ave.,Donora,after 7 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held Friday,Jan.28,1972,at 11 a.m.in St.Paul Baptist Church,Donora,with the Rev.W.E.McBrayer,pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
