Obituary

Frank Reska,52,of 602 Speer St.Speers Hill,in Presbyterian-University Hospital,Pittsburgh,at 2:45 p.m.Thursday,Feb.20,1969,after a 12 weeks' illness. Mr.Reska was born in New Bedford,Mass.,Dec.25,1916,a son of Alexander Reska and the late Mary Taradejna Reska. He was a member of St.Jerome Roman Catholic Church,Charleroi,and was employed in the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. A veteran of World War II,having served with the U.S.Army,he had lived in the Charleroi area 50 years. Mr.Reska is survived by his widow,Ann Koren Reska,a son,Robert at home,one daughter,Mrs.Lawrence (Mary Ann) Malena of Squirrel Hill,his father,Alexander Reska of Long Branch,two brothers,Walter of West Newton and Edward of Long Branch,two sisters,Cecelia Reska of Long Branch and Mrs.Joseph (Stella) Grilli of Charleroi. Friends are being received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will take place in St.Jerome R.C.Church,Charleroi,at 9 a.m.Monday Feb.24. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C.Slezak is funeral director.
