Frank P. Venneri,86,of Fayette City R.D.2,formerly of Monessen,died at 9:55 a.m.,Friday,Dec. 27,1991,in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mr. Venneri was born Aug. 1,1905,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Nicola and Maria Salvino Venneri. He was a former employee of the rod mill department of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr. Venneri was a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,and its Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Monessen Knights of Columbus,the Italian Society of Mutual Aid,also of Monessen,and the Monessen Sons of Italy. His wife,Lena Coccari Venneri,died in 1985.A brother,Joseph Venneri,and a sister, Freda Molinatto, are also deceased. Surviving are two sisters,Theresa Salvino and Mrs. Andrew (Adeline) Cosner,both of Monessen;two brothers,David Venneri of Monessen and William R. Venneri of Belle Vernon;and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home,441 Reed Ave.,Monessen. A Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
