Obituary

Frank Negleman Sr.80,of Charleroi RD 2,died suddenly at 1:30 p.m. yesterday in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was 80. Born in Jumet,Belgium on April 17,1897,he was a son of the late Victor and Hortense Branger Negleman. Mr.Negleman had lived in the Mon Valley the past 60 years. He was a member of Sts.Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church,Charleroi. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. where he had worked with the charger machine in the open hearth department. He was preceded in death by a son,Frank Negleman Jr.,in 1976,and by a brother,Archie Negleman of Amity. Surviving are his second wife,Victoria A.Sable Negleman,two daughters,Mrs.William (Louise) Schaum of Fallowfield Twp. and Denise Hull of Culpepper,Va.,two stepsons,Andrew and William Sable of Fallowfield Twp.,10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home,Inc.Charleroi,from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday,April 30,noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday,May 1. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday,May 2 at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sts.Cyril & Methodus Catholic Church,Charleroi,with the Rev.Andrew J.Bialobok,pastor,as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.Michael A.Melinchak,funeral director in charge.
