Obituary

Frank "Bucky" Zoretich died on Jan. 13, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He is the son of the late Frank Zoretich and Ann Dolinsky Zoretich. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Denise Panepinto Zoretich; son, Frank Zoretich Jr.; sister, Mildred (Bunny) Vitori; brother-in-law, William Vitori; and several aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was born and raised in Monessen and graduated from Monessen High School in 1957 where he played center for the Monessen Greyhounds. He continued his education at Clemson University, playing in the Sugar Bowl and the first Bluebonnet Bowl. He graduated with honors in horticulture and lettered in football. He was a dedicated husband, father, teacher and football coach. He taught science, biology, and anatomy and coached football in the West Allegheny, Ringgold, and Belle Vernon Area School districts. After his retirement from Belle Vernon, he continued to enjoy his lifelong passion of fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Tiger Lettermen's Association, the Croation Fraternal Union Lodge 194, St. Sebastian church, and the National Rifle Association. Private services were held Jan. 15, 2015, at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, was entrusted with the arrangements.
