Frank N.Jones Sr.;of Main St.;Allenport;died Thursday;Sept.30;1965;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He served on the Allenport Borough Council for 20 years. He was born in West End;Pittsburgh;Nov.11;1891. He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Jane Stevenson Jones. He was a retired employee of the Allenport plant;Pittsburgh Steel Co. and was a member of the Charleroi Elks Club. Survivors are his widow;Avona Coatsworth Jones;three sons;Thomas of California;Frank;Mayor of Allenport;and William;also of Allenport;two daughters;Mrs.Helen Cowher of Allenport;Mrs.Emily Meyers;Bentleyville;eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home;Roscoe;during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held there Sunday;Oct.3;at 2 p.m.;in charge of the Rev.Norman C.Hunt;pastor of the California Christian Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ruth Eckert;Roscoe;is the funeral director.
