Obituary

Frank McKenna,Center St.,Fayette City,died Thursday,Dec.28,1972,at 5:12 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospitals,Inc. He was born in Finleyville,Sept.30,1890,son of the late Frank and Cora Duffy McKenna. He was a retired coal miner and belonged to United Mine Workers Local 2146. He is survived by his widow,Florence Rice McKenna,four daughters,Mrs.Spence (Rose) Astle and Mrs.James (Katherine) Moody of Fayette City,Mrs.Leon (Jaennine) Grochoi of Bentleyville and Mrs.Harry (Patricia) Palmer of Fayette City,a brother,Michael of Renton,three sisters,Jean McKenna of New Kensington,Mrs.Alice Clem of West Palm Beach,Fla.,and Mrs.Margaret Micheau of Okmulgee,Okla.,eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends received after 7 p.m.Saturday at Howard McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m.Monday,prayer service will be at 1 p.m.Tuesday,followed by Mass at 1:30 p.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,with Rev.Stephen Drab officiating. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
