He was born in Finleyville;Sept.30;1890;son of the late Frank and Cora Duffy McKenna. He was a retired coal miner and belonged to United Mine Workers Local 2146. He is survived by his widow;Florence Rice McKenna;four daughters;Mrs.Spence (Rose) Astle and Mrs.James (Katherine) Moody of Fayette City;Mrs.Leon (Jaennine) Grochoi of Bentleyville and Mrs.Harry (Patricia) Palmer of Fayette City;a brother;Michael of Renton;three sisters;Jean McKenna of New Kensington;Mrs.Alice Clem of West Palm Beach;Fla.;and Mrs.Margaret Micheau of Okmulgee;Okla.;eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends received after 7 p.m.Saturday at Howard McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m.Monday;prayer service will be at 1 p.m.Tuesday;followed by Mass at 1:30 p.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with Rev.Stephen Drab officiating. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
