Frank Moskala of 236 Washington Ave., Charleroi,formerly of Fayette City,died Wednesday, March 16,1983 at 3:45 p.m. at his home following a lengthy illness. He was 89. Mr. Moskala was born Jan. 13,1894,in Poland,a son of the late John and Anna Moskala. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Moskala was a member of FOE No. 390 of Charleroi and a social member of Charleroi American Legion Post 22. He was a retired tailor,originally having had his own shop in Fayette City. He worked several years for David Rosenburg of Charleroi and most recently worked for Tars Romito of Chaleroi. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moskala was preceded in death by a son, Edward, on Oct. 21,1974. Survivors include his widow, Freda Hixenbaugh Moskala; two daughters, Doris Breckenridge of Belle Vernon and Lorraine Beaudry of Rapid River,Mich.;one step-daughter,Henrietta Klancher of Charleroi; seven grandchildren;eight great-grandchildren;eight step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W. Mccrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and on Saturday until 10 a.m.,when a Blessing Service will be held with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Rinn,pastor of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City, officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCroy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
