Frank M.Rizzuto;75;of 424 Fourth St.;Monessen died Sunday;Oct.12;1969;at 1:10 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr.Rizzuto was a music teacher and businessman. He founded the Rizzuto Music and Jewelry Store at 465 Donner Ave.;Monessen in 1910. He formed the first Monessen Firemen’s Band. He was a graduate of the University of Chicago in 1927 with a degree in advanced composition and in 1929 with a degree in advanced harmony. He was a member of St.Leonard R.C.Church in Monessen and Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Croatian Society of Monessen;American Accordionists Assoc.;of New York and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Assoc. Survivors include his widow;Leda DeBerardinis Ruzzuto;one son;Frank J.Sr.;of Monessen;one grandson;Frank J.Jr. Friends are being received at the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;Monessen. Blessing service there Wednesday;Oct.15;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Leonard R.C.Church;Monessen at 10 a.m. The Rev.Regis M.Hickey;pastor;will be celebrant.
