Frank Bowers,aged 57,died at 3:40 p.m.Wednesday afternoon,May 16,1934,at his home, 518 Henry street,Belle Vernon. He contacted pneumonia last Friday. A life long resident of Belle Vernon he had conducted a barber shop for a number of years. He was affiliated with the Christian Church and served as an elder for 23 years. Besides his wife,Mrs. Maude Bowers,two daughters,Mrs. Bertha Taylor of Speers and Mrs. Amelia Anderson of Follonsbee,W.Va.,survive along with four sons,Howard and John of Belle Vernon,and Addison and Edward at home. Funeral services will be held from the late home Saturday at two o'clock in charge of Rev. M.S. Spears and Mrs. E.C.Lewis. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
